Because all of our canine guests remain together and in close contact with our family and friends there are requirements that need to be met before we can admit your dog to Camp Canine:
Training level:
- Responds to basic commands, walks on a leash
- Fully house trained
- Does not dominate anyone in your family
- Is not an incesant barker or whiner
Social compatibility:
- Zero history of aggression with humans
- Social with other dogs
- No aggressive or behaviour disorders
Vaccinations:
- Up to date on all vaccinations. We may accept Titers
- Bordatella (Kennel Cough): we cannot accept any dog administered a Bordatella vaccine within 14 days of your booking date.
Neutered/ Spayed:
- Every dog that matures to be sexually active must be neutered or spayed - typically after 6 mths and a must prior to 12 mths of age. We cannot accept any dog fixed within 10 days of your booking date.
Tics & Fleas:
- Your dog must be on a ingestible flea program (Between March and October) and not have fleas.
- Flea collars are not acceptable.
Please drop your dog off bathed and with nails trimmed and a fully secure, proper fitting collar.

Breed Restrictions:
- Akita
- Amercian Staffordshire
- Amercian Bulldog
- Bull Terrier
- Blue Healer
- Boxer (some exceptions)
- Cain Corso
- German Sheppard
- Pitbull
- Rottweiller
- Weimaraners
Any mix with 50% or more of the above breed may not be admitted.
Exceptions: Clients with dogs of the above breeds who started camp as pups will be allowed to remain as long as they continue to display zero aggression or dominance of any kind.
